Enware unisex toilet package helps builders comply
with disability provisions

Enware Australia has released a Carekit solution for builders & developers who have to provide accessible toilets as required by the Building Code of Australia for all non-residential buildings.

The Carekit is designed to suit both left and right hand installations and is now offered in two versions:

    - Luxury Carekit
    - Standard Carekit

The Carekit(tm) conveniently combines in one pack, all the elements required to comply with Australian Standard 1428.1* relating particularly to people with a disability.

"The Carekit is a unique way to bring together in one package all the basic elements required, eliminating the task of picking and matching components form various sources," says the National Product Manager of the Caredesign Division of Enware Australia Pty Ltd, Mr Tim Knowles.

The Standard Carekit contains:

* Care Toilet Seat - single flap (Blue)
* Care Pan & Cistern with raised flush buttons
* Wall Mounted Care Basin - single tap hole
* Single Lever Mixer with disabled handle design (Chrome Plated)
* 32mm Stainless Steel Grab Rails

* AS1428.1 requires that when more than one unisex accessible toilet is installed within a facility, there must be both left and right-handed designs, to provide a choice of transfer side.
